City Council Chambers get a Makeover

For the first time in at least 20 years, the Dunsmuir City Council Chambers received a small makeover.

Over the last few months, city staff have worked between projects to breathe new life into the City Council Chambers. New flooring, paint, and chairs, among other things, give the room a much-needed facelift.

A few finishing touches will be added in the coming weeks, but the project is largely complete. The project cost under $10,000 and staff time to complete the project.

The update conserves the character of the historic building, which will turn 100 next year. The City hopes the makeover will allow the building to continue serving as a gathering place for our community for many more years.
