Union Pacific has provided additional details regarding the train derailment and repairs to Simpson Ave.
No work is planned March 26th - 31st.
The Final Simpson Avenue crossing repairs will occur on Friday, April 4th.
Simpson Avenue will be closed from roughly 9 AM to 5 PM on Friday, April 4th.
The three rail cars will be removed the week of April 7th.
RoadSafe, Union Pacific’s contractor for the Simpson Avenue repairs, will post door-to-door notifications on Monday, March 31st, for residents impacted by the April 4th closure. RoadSafe will also install signage on Monday, March 31st, on Simpson Ave, indicating the planned closure on April 4th.
