Last Call! Dunsmuir Wildfire Mitigation Project - Free Work

The Project will being this summer, once it starts, it may be too late to sign up, so sign up now!

If you live on the eastside of the Sacramento River between Tauhindauli Park and the Shasta County line, then you are within the Siskiyou Fire Safe Council Wildfire Mitigation Project Priority Area. This means you can sign up for free Wildfire Mitigation work! This includes streets like River Ave, Butterfly Ave, and South 1st Street, and any of those other side streets on that side of the river.

The Project contractor will work with each property owner to ensure that the final wildfire treatment turn out exactly how you want it.

People have been going door-to-door to get people to sign up, but less than 40% of people in the project area have signed up thus far. So if you know someone in the Project area, please let them know about the Project! The more people that sign up, the more effective the treatment will be, and the better protected the whole community will become.
