The Dunsmuir Botanical Gardens Park will be closed for 2-3 weeks, starting today, for Hazardous Tree Removal and Water Line Construction.
The gate behind the Ball Field will remain locked while the work occurs. Work will happen during business hours, approximately 8 AM to 5 PM. Foot traffic can still enter the park before and after business hours when work is not occurring while it’s still daylight out.
Multiple dead or dying trees will be removed during the closure.
A new waterline and hydrant will also be installed, which will provide better water pressure and fire coverage in the immediate park area.
The Park should be reopened by March 14th.
