Sandbags and sand are available to Dunsmuir Residents looking to mitigate risk and damages of flooding.
Sandbags may be found Near Sacramento and Butterfly Aves within the UP Railyard near the Public Workshop (Across from the Amtrak Station on the far side of the tracks)
Sandpile is marked and tarped. Use the provided shovel to place sand into the bags provided. Please retarp after use.
Please be mindful , this is an active railroad, look both ways before crossing over tracks and watch for moving vehicles & heavy equipment.
